Boys & Girls Club Mural: "A Place to Grow"

As part of my internship with Liz Lidgett Gallery + Design, I worked with NYC based artist, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya to complete a 100ft. mural on Drake University’s campus. We spent 2 weeks painting and getting to know the children who would be spending their time at this Boys and Girls Club. This mural is a visual reminder for the kids on the playground and basketball courts next to it to feel represented, empowered and to dream big.
